About the Company :
Air India Engg Services Ltd (AIESL) is subsidiary of Air India Ltd which is a Public Sector Company wholly owned by Govt. of India. It had started its operations in Nagpur with maintenance, repair and overhaul operations in collaboration with Boeing Inc.
In May 2017, Brazilian aerospace major Embraer has partnered with the company to set up a maintenance and repair MRO facility to maintain its brand of private and business jets in the entire Southeast Asian region. The facility will come up in Begumpet in Hyderabad.
In December 2019, the company may sign with GOI to provide maintenance for B777 custom made planes . The agreement will make way for maintaining the planes and also to provide components support as well.
