Indian aviation space is growing at scorching pace. To meet the rising demand, every now and then a new airline springs up trying to garner a piece of growth. However, without efficient operations, at slight downturn they crumble. We have seen many airlines NEPC Airlines, KingFisher sliding down the charts. Very few have cracked the rising growth in Indian markets like IndiGo or Jet Airways. Even they feel the pressure in times of rising fuel and operation costs and it is a delicate balancing act. However, the challenges has not deterred new comers and we are seeing giant ventures like Tata Vistara and Air Asia besides many small regional operators have commenced operations.
The government of India is also looking to boost regional connectivity with UDAN programme which is also acting as an incentive to explore new markets.
