Chennai airport commissions the walklator which connects its domestic and international terminal besides the airport metro station. The walklator was set with an investment of Rs. 800 million. There are 12 walklators of 30 meters length which covers a stretch of more than half-a-kilometre (0.602 km). Escalators and Lifts have also been provided for connectivity at airports.
