Bihar government cabinet approves development of Raxaul and Darbhanga airports

Bihar Government has approved the land acquisition for development of Darbhanga and Raxaul airports. In Jan 2025, the state government cabinet has given clearance to acquire 89.75 acres of land, valued at Rs 244.60 crore, for the development of Darbhanga airport into an international airport. Additionally, the cabinet approved the acquisition of 139 acres of land, valued at Rs 207 crore, for the expansion of Raxaul airport
