Airports Authority of India is planning to develop a civil terminal in Adampur near Jalandhar airport in Punjab. AAI has signed an MoU with the state government of Punjab a for development and operationalization of civil enclave adjacent to Adampur Airforce Station. It plans to set up construction of Apron to park 02 Nos. of AB 320 types of Aircraft, link taxi track and terminal building for 300 passengers (150 Arrival and 150
Departure) as per IMG norms and with car park for 150 cars.
L&T Infrastructure Engineering Ltd has already submitted a techno feasibility report which suggested a passenger terminal of 5000 sq. meters which can have a peak passenger capacity of 300 nos.
