Delhi to get second airport at Hindon

Delhi is set to have its second airport at Hindon which is currently functioning as Air Force Station. The Hindon IAF base will operate UDAN scheme flights which connects region like Pithoragarh, Jaisalmer, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Kannur.

The airport is getting a new terminal with an investment of ₹ 452 million with an area of 3500 sq.meters. It will have a peak capacity to handle 350 passengers per hour.

In March 2019, the civil enclave in Hindon Airport has gone operational.
